The Market Accelerator (TMA) is a venture lab and venture studio designed to help entrepreneurs, inventors, consultants, operators, and emerging startups accelerate the path from idea to execution.
TMA combines venture incubation, founder support, startup infrastructure, branding, operational systems, investor readiness, growth strategy, and commercialization support into a practical execution-focused platform.
The organization supports early-stage ventures across AI, SaaS, consumer products, hospitality, media, marketplaces, consulting, education, and innovation-driven businesses.
The Market Accelerator was founded by Eric Melin with physical desk space and co-working operations in Market Square Portsmouth, New Hampshire and the MIT/Kendall area (Technology Square) in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
TMA often collaborates, multitasks, and syndicates with other venture groups, startup ecosystems, accelerators, and university programs including relationships through HBS, MIT, Boston University, and other Boston-area innovation networks.
Three to four founder cohorts are typically accepted per year on a rolling basis with an approximate six-month acceleration horizon. At least one primary founder or CEO should already be operating — or be prepared to operate — with full-time focus and execution commitment.
